Location

On the water lessons for iROW Fitness Studio take place in Marina Del Rey, CA. We meet at Marina Beach, aka Mother’s Beach, located at 14110 Palawan Way, Marina del Rey, 90292.

Private lessons on the water

Begin taking strokes in single and double sculling boats, learn how to make turns, stop, row in reverse and be safe on the water. Progress to being able to row longer distances with good form and rhythm.

Foundational strength building and flexibility

Learn exercises that build core strength, improve flexibility and increase body position awareness. Exercises are progressive in nature to continually build on these strength gains and skills. These sessions are crucial for assisting in injury prevention.

Schedule and rates

Training takes place every week as follows:

Tuesdays 4:30pm – 5:30pm – Indoor Rowing with coach Shannon Craig

Thursdays 4:30pm – 5:30pm – Strength and Flexibility Foundations with exercise physiologist Michele Bond

Private lessons are booked Monday or Wednesday afternoons at 3pm, 4pm and 5pm with Coach Iva Boteva.  Lessons are 1 hour long (50min instruction and 10 min boat handling).  Alternative time slots may be available as well with other iROW coaches.

You can sign up for the program for 4 weeks at a time. We offer options to sign up for studio portion only (the indoor rowing on Tuesdays and Strength & Flexibility on Thursdays) or for the studio portion + the private rowing lessons (which are offered at a discounted rate as part of the program).

Cost per 4 week Session:

Indoor Training Only (indoor rowing on Tuesdays + Strength and Flexibility on Thursdays): $399

Indoor and Outdoor (same as above + 1 private rowing lesson on the water per week): $799

Capacity is for 2-7 kids per session.
